Szimonetta or Sisi as she is better known is a Bournemouth based food sculptor, originally from Hungary and a qualified stone sculptor she decided to experiment with other forms of the art she loves.
Now an accomplished food sculptor Sisi carves Melons, Pumpkins, Avocados, Sweet Potatoes, and her latest triumph is cheese. The food is merely the canvas for anything you want displayed, my personal favourite example would be the wedding proposal beautifully carved onto a watermelon. Some quality brands have used Sisi's carving skills to create centrepieces for events but mostly in London so if you can think of an event that is looking for a unique way to convey a message this could be the answer you have been looking for. How about a cheese truckle carved for your wedding instead of the traditional fruit cake?

During lockdown Sisi has developed some gift boxes with handmade soap and flowers, I recently purchased one of these for my brother and his fiance as they should of been getting married in Greece and have had to be postpone until this time next year.
Obviously it doesn't make up for the fact that they have had to postpone but in a small way I hope they realise I am thinking of them.
