Corfe Castle isn't just about a castle

Dinner at The Greyhound - Corfe Castle PRESS VISIT The Greyhound Inn is a charming 16th century coaching inn set in the village square with the ruins of the castle as its backdrop, allegedly it is the most photographed pub in England. Last week some of the Bournemouth Bloggers were invited along by the restaurant to review the food on their Autumn menu, it was pretty dark on arrival so I've added a summer photo so you can see just how pretty it is in the daylight. A Cosy Club Night out

A Cocktail Masterclass at the Cosy Club in Bournemouth is my idea of a great night out, I accepted my invitation via Bournemouth Bloggers almost as soon as the email hit my inbox. If you havn't been before it really is something a little different from the norm. You will find it at 34 Old Christchurch Rd, so also very convenient for a quick break during a shopping spree in the town. I love the eclectic, slightly deco style, that changes on each floor, the Manager told us its

    Dancing Moose goes vegan

Last week I was lucky enough to have an invitation to attend the Dancing Moose Vegan takeover at Penn Hill, on behalf of Bournemouth Bloggers. I am not a vegan but often go out with vegan friends who end up with a very limited choice at restaurants, although thankfully 2018 seems to have seen a bit of a turnaround, more restaurants are realising the importance of catering for this growing market. This was truly a brave move for The Dancing Moose as the norm is far from vegan

    Upper Deck Terrace-Launch Night

Friday 20th April was the hottest April day in nearly seventy years, so I was more than happy to make my way to The Christchurch Harbour Hotel to celebrate the relaunch of their deck area, and stay out in the sunshine for a couple more hours. I am a regular visitor to the restaurant so knew what to expect from the inside of the hotel but had not experienced the decking on such a beautiful evening, it was perfect.
