Review of The Curlew - Refurbished

The Curlew in Parley has had a refurbishment, now offering a brighter airy feel with new menus, it's definitely worth a visit. A far cry from the traditional pub that only expected visitors from lunchtime onwards, the new brunch menu available from 9am should be a huge draw to hungry customers, especially as it's only minutes away from the Bournemouth Airport. Set yourself up before you fly or eat there to save cooking on your return.

The Curlew - Parley

I was invited along to The Curlew to sample their brunch menu and took along my friend Graham (hubby was working). Graham was very impressed with the makeover and his full english the portion size was generous but appropriate for the price just make sure you are hungry.

I opted for the pulled beef brisket but to be honest I had menu envy when I saw the full english, although I am not sure I could of eaten it all.

The staff were really friendly and efficient, our waitress had been working there for fourteen years, which is lovely to hear and a sign of a good working relationship with the owners.

The refurbishment has been beautifully done with plenty of little nooks for more private dining, they also welcome dogs inside and as a dog owner I appreciate that.

I recommend a visit, be it brunch, lunch or dinner with loved ones, friends or just your dog.

Our brunch was complimentary but all opinions and photographs are my own.
