If you are ever in Wimborne be sure to check out this little place, its currently rated No.1 restaurant in the area and having popped in for a quick lunch I can see why.

The friendly staff welcomed me in and showed me to a seat by the window, its only a small restaurant so the natural light was lovely and I could see what was going on in the street outside. This dish made a welcome change from the regular lunchtime sandwich and was perfect in size to keep me going for the rest of the day. Service from the staff was great from start to finish they had a new member of staff that day who seemed a little nervous but we all have to start somewhere don't we?

Two regrets from my visit: a) I didn't film my first cut into the egg, but I can tell you the yolk was a sunny bright yellow and cooked to perfection, it just trickled ever so slowly down the Ham and into the peas and tasted so good!

b) I was driving so could not take advantage of the great selection of wines on offer.

However, I did finish my lunch with a fruit tea from Dorset Tea a shout out for a local company done good.

My recommendation would be try this place for lunch as you can't compare their food to the normal grab it offerings for pretty much the same price. You won't be disappointed.
