Lymington Seafood Festival

The 5th Lymington Seafood Festival took place on the weekend of 16th, 17th & 18th July 2021. It really was a joy to attend a foodie event and this one celebrated the areas rich cultural heritage, local produce and links to the sea.

Over 80 stands filled the Bath Rd site selling every imaginable type of seafood, along with stalls for meat eaters and vegans, crafts and local tipples. Congratulation to festival organisers Richard & Domine from Lighthouse Marketing for a well organised event that provided just what we all needed as we come out of a pandemic.

My favourite new find at this years festival was Mr Dumpling from just across the water on the Isle of Wight - you can find them at the Miami inspired street food market on Sandown Boulevard Thurs - Sun, look out for them if you visit the IOW those dumplings were delicious.

It was great to see some of my favourite local producers too, including:

Pothecary Gin

Hattingley Valley

Purbeck Ice Cream

Black Cow Vodka

Portsmouth Distillery

Isle of White Meats

Shanty Spirits

Jules Ceramics

Dumpling Dumpling

Catch Fabulous Fishcakes
